About us

Art & Forest School Holiday Club is run by Alison Kelly and Emily Strange, both based in Watford. Together we have over 28 years of experience in caring for children at an outstanding Ofsted rated nursery based in Hertfordshire, and also run a successful Young Artists Art Club for children aged 5-15. 

 

With our skills lying in painting and illustration, we have a shared passion for art. We both explore a versatile range of mediums in our own work, ranging from acrylic, pastels, oils and pencil.

 

We know the value of engaging children in artistic activities, and are passionate about allowing them the freedom to express themselves and grow through creativity. We are excited to combine our love of teaching children art and Forest School in a new holiday club. We understand children's development needs and are responsive to their individual interests.

 

Alison has a degree in illustration and runs further art classes at Bromet School, and adult classes at home in Watford.

Emily is a qualified Forest School and Early Years teacher. She paints and exhibits her work locally.
